Nami Relayer is the automation layer that manages voting, rebase, and claims on behalf of the user.

Reward Strategies define what happens to rewards once they are claimed: they can be received as blue-chip assets directly in the user's wallet, reinvested into the veNAMI position, or directed toward other products within the ecosystem.

Once configured, Nami automatically executes the strategy every epoch.

Infinite veNAMI → Nami Relayer → Optimize Voting, Claim Rewards, Claim Rebase → Reward Strategies. From Reward Strategies, four strategies are available, each with its own destination:

Reward Strategies → veNAMI Compound → More Voting Power
Reward Strategies → Nami Credit → Lending
Reward Strategies → ogNAMI Staking → ogNAMI Vault

Each epoch, Nami Relayer analyzes the available voting reward opportunities and mathematically calculates how to reallocate voting power to target the highest available yield.

Execution takes place during the final hour of the epoch, within the Blackout Window. During this phase, public voting is suspended and only the authorized Nami Relayer keeper can execute a vote.

The Relayer operates when swap fees, voting incentives, and the overall vote distribution are already observable — using the most complete information available before the epoch closes.

At the same time, it claims rebase and collects voting rewards accrued across multiple chains, completing the operational cycle of the position.

Accessing Nami Relayer

Nami Relayer is available exclusively to Infinite veNAMI positions held on Base.

Standard positions can access the service after being converted to Infinite, gaining permanent voting power and access to the automation layer.

Automated Claims

Voting rewards can be generated by pools distributed across multiple blockchains.

Nami Relayer claims them on their respective chains and routes them according to the reward distribution selected by the user, without requiring manual transactions.

Ethereum Rewards, Base Rewards, Robinhood Rewards → Nami Relayer → Reward Distribution.

By default, when using Nami Relayer, all rewards are converted into USDC and sent directly to the user's wallet on Base, where the automation process runs.

Through Reward Strategies, users can instead choose the assets, destination chains, and how their rewards are used every epoch.

Reward Strategies

Reward Strategies allow users to define in advance how voting rewards should be used.

They are available to Infinite veNAMI positions with an active voting automation and can be combined with one another.

Once configured, the strategy is executed every epoch and can be modified at any time outside the Blackout Window.

Blue Chip Liquidation

Blue Chip Liquidation converts the allocated share of rewards into the asset selected by the user:

Voting Rewards → Blue Chip Liquidation → USDC, BTC, or ETH (as selected by the user) → User Wallet Preferred Chain.

The strategy transforms rewards generated across different tokens and blockchains into a liquid output selected in advance by the user.

Auto Compound uses the allocated share of rewards to buy NAMI on the market and convert it into veNAMI, adding it to the user's position.

Execution takes place on Base.

Voting yield is reinvested into the position, progressively increasing the voting power in subsequent epochs and maximizing the effectiveness of the automated voting position over time.

ogNAMI Staking uses the allocated share of rewards to buy ogNAMI on the market and deposit it into the ogNAMI Vault.

Execution takes place on Base.

The strategy converts part of the voting rewards into a position that participates in the protocol revenue stream allocated to ogNAMI stakers.

The Nami Credit strategy uses the allocated share of rewards to obtain USDC and deposit it into the Nami Credit lending vault.

Execution takes place on Base.

This allows part of the voting yield to be reallocated to Nami's credit market.

Reward Strategies can be combined to create a customized reward distribution.

Users define how their rewards should be distributed, and Nami applies the same strategy every epoch.

Automation Fees

Using automations applies a 1% fee on generated rewards.

A portion of the fee covers the operating and maintenance costs required to run Nami Relayer, while the remaining amount is directed to the Recursive Buyback Engine.

Automation Fee (1%) splits into two parts: one part goes to Nami Relayer Maintenance Costs, the other becomes the Net Fee, which is directed to RBE (Recursive Buyback Engine).

This links Nami Relayer activity to the protocols value capture system: automation usage feeds the broader Nami economy.
