The Omni Layer
The Omni Layer is the infrastructure through which Nami coordinates markets, liquidity positions, and voting power across all supported blockchains.
Individual pools continue to operate locally on their respective networks, retaining their own assets, parameters, and technical characteristics.
Nami integrates them into a shared economic structure managed at the protocol level.
The result: an ecosystem with execution distributed across multiple blockchains and a unified operational experience.
Market Layer
The Market Layer organizes pools according to their economic exposure.
Markets such as BTC/USD, ETH/USD, BTC/ETH, MEME/USD and STOCK/USD are treated as multichain markets — composed of their respective implementations across supported networks.
BTC/USD may include pools using WBTC, cbBTC, or other representations of Bitcoin paired with USD-denominated assets.
Similarly, ETH/USD may include ETH and its liquid variants, while BTC/ETH brings together pools that express the economic relationship between the two assets.
Users can view each market as a whole and compare its liquidity, yields, activity, and opportunities through a single interface.
Individual pools remain separate.
Nami aggregates market's data and economic coordination while preserving full transparency over the underlying assets, pools, and blockchains.
Tokenized Stocks
The market STOCK/USD is one of the clearest examples of the Omni Layer.
Nami supports Coinbase Tokenized Stocks issued through the B20 standard on Base and Robinhood Stock Tokens issued on Robinhood Chain.
Each asset retains its issuer, legal structure, and chain-native characteristics, while its liquidity pools are organized under the same multichain market.
Stock pools on Base use USDC as their quote asset, while pools on Robinhood Chain use USDG.
Through OmniGauge, swap fees, voting rewards, and emissions are coordinated at the STOCK/USD market level.
INFO: the availability of tokenized stocks depends on the user's jurisdiction and the eligibility requirements established by each issuer. See the terms and conditions for the latest restrictions.
Execution Layer
Value in DeFi moves rapidly across assets, markets, and blockchains.
The Execution Layer allows liquidity to follow it.
Users can create and reallocate positions across supported chains through operations coordinated at the protocol level.
OmniDeposit manages entry into and exit from pools, while OmniShift enables capital to move between blockchains and opportunities.
Coordination Layer
A multichain protocol requires a voting system that works the same way regardless of which chain the user is on.
Nami introduces OmniGauge — aggregating pools that belong to the same economic category into a single point for voting and reward distribution.
Voters express a single preference from any chain where they hold voting power, and receive rewards generated by every pool within that category across supported networks.
One market. One vote. Rewards from every chain.
Swap fees generated by the different pools flow into the reward stream for that category, providing a unified view of the value generated.
Emissions are then distributed among the market's subpools based on the votes received collectively.
The system proposes an allocation based on activity and swap fees from recent epochs.
Voters can confirm or modify the allocation before casting their vote.
Value is aggregated at the market level, while emissions are directed toward the chains and pools where that value is generated.

The three layers of the OmniLayer operate as parts of the same infrastructure
- Market Layer organizes pools and assets into shared economic categories.
- Execution Layer uses OmniDeposit to enter and exit liquidity positions across supported chains, and OmniShift to reallocate liquidity as opportunities change.
- Coordination Layer uses OmniGauge to coordinate voting, rewards and emissions across the pools within each market.
Together, these layers connect markets, liquidity and rewards across chains, while individual pools continue to operate on their own networks.
The d(3,3) Model
The Omni Layer provides the multichain infrastructure, while the d(3,3) model coordinates its economic dynamics.
Emissions, incentives, and protocol resources are adjusted over time according to market activity and the distribution of value across chains.
